A Hereditary Chief of the Gwawaenuk First Nation, Chief Joseph has dedicated his life to bridging the differences brought about by intolerance, lack of understanding and racism at home and abroad. 3)  'We Were Children' is a 2012 Canadian documentary film about the experiences of First Nations children in the Canadian Indian Residential School System, as told through the experiences of 2 Indigenous children.
