Being a member of REACH helps to give us a strong voice and helps to keep you connected and informed about the latest happenings at REACH and in the community. As a REACH member, you will be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting, as well as have the opportunity to stand for nomination to the Board of Directors.
REACH gains credibility and strength with every member who joins us, and this helps us gain ongoing funding and support from the government and other funding sources. A healthy membership not only makes us proud, it also shows that lots of people count on our services and support. Membership is a vote of confidence that sends the message that we have the support of our community as we work hard to fulfill our mission and stay active in our community.
You may apply to become a member of REACH if you agree to support our mission and values, are a REACH client, or you live or work in the Grandview-Woodlands area of East Vancouver. All membership applications need to be approved by the board of directors. Our catchment area is from Ontario St. to Boundary and from 41st to the Burrard Inlet. Membership fees are $1 and need to be renewed annually.
Please note: If you'd like to be able to vote in our AGM, please ensure your membership is submitted or renewed no later than one week before the AGM.
